  • 10+ valuable sessions

The sessions range from the business of buying and selling jets to navigating regulatory issues, to using new technology to ease flight operations. Besides the valuable information, it’s a chance for business owners, executives and aviation business personnel to meet, exchange ideas, and network.

Have a look at the EBACE 2018 full schedule of events.

Come See Jetex

Jetex is an exhibitor and major sponsor so you’ll see signs of our company at the event. Stop by booth Q89 to learn more about how we support private jet travel from the terminal to the sky, and through the destination.

About the Venue

Palexpo is Geneva’s biggest exhibition and convention center. Its size is impressive, housing 106,000 square meters of interconnected event space. It’s conveniently located adjacent to both Geneva international airport and the city’s rail station, Palexpo. The venue is also easily accessible by motorway from the rest of Switzerland, as well as from France, Germany, and Italy. On-site parking is available for 2,800 vehicles.

The Palexpo site is located just 10 minutes’ walk from Geneva Airport and its railway station and a 15-minute bus ride from the city center. Trains operate at regular intervals and take only 10 minutes to run between the airport and the center.

Flying to Geneva

Geneva Airport (IATA: GVA, ICAO: LSGG), formerly known as Cointrin Airport, is the main international airport serving Geneva. LSGG functions as an Airport of Entry (AoE) and offers a full range of General Aviation (GA) support services and ground handling equipment. The airport operates from 06:00 – 22:00 local time, seven days a week. No overtime is possible and all arrivals must be on the ground by 22:00, otherwise, they face being diverted to another airport. Departures must be in the air by 21:45 at the latest. The airport is usually busy throughout the day. As there is only one runway, delays can sometimes occur due to inclement weather. However, this should not be an issue during the month of May, when conditions are generally favorable.

During EBACE, some of the parking areas normally used by GA will be restricted due to the static aircraft display. As a result, overnight parking may be limited during the event period.

Alternate Airports

Alternate airports which can be used for repositioning include Lyon–Saint Exupéry Airport (IATA: LYS, ICAO: LFLL)Zürich Airport (IATA: ZRH, ICAO: LSZH) and Basel Mulhouse Freiburg (IATA: MLH, ICAO: LFSB). All function as AoEs, and offer a full complement of GA support services. However, due to their relatively long distances from the EBACE venue (140km, 280km, and 255km respectively), Geneva Airport remains the best available option. In order to guarantee your spot, it is recommended to ensure that all permits, slots, and permissions are arranged well in advance.

Landing Permits for Switzerland

Swiss landing permits are mandatory only for charter (non-scheduled commercial) flights. Private non-revenue flights do not require landing permits. Documents which need to be submitted with the permit application include the plane’s airworthiness and registration certificates, air operator certificate (AOC), and insurance details. The official lead time is five working days, although generally speaking permits are processed within two or three days.

Airport Slots and PPR

Airport slots for LSGG are obtained via an online request system. Slots are issued in 19-minute blocks, with all timings strictly enforced. Once the request has been approved, a confirmation number will be provided. This should be entered in the remarks section of the flight plan. Prior Permission Required (PPR) is not usually required at LSGG, however, due to heavy traffic must be obtained during the EBACE period.

Fuel Uplifts

VAT is applied on fuel sales in Switzerland. As Jetex is a VAT registered company, VAT exemption can be availed at the point of sale. Enroll in our VAT exemption program today, and experience the benefits of VAT-free fueling across 18 European countries. For further details, please contact vat@jetex.com.

Customs and Immigration

Customs and immigration are cleared within the general aviation terminal at LSGG and is usually a fast and straightforward process. Passports of passengers and crew must have a remaining validity of at least six months. Visas may be required, depending on nationality. There are no visas on arrival in Switzerland, so they must be arranged prior to departure.

Accommodation

Hotels in Geneva will have higher prices and stricter cancellation policies during the EBACE period, with four-star accommodation running as high as $300 – 500 USD per night. Jetex has the connections necessary to secure the best available accommodation, at highly competitive rates. Contact our travel team today to discuss your requirements.

Formula_one-2

Who will spray the magnum of champagne at this year’s Spanish Grand Prix? Will Sebastian Vettel regain his lead? Can Lewis Hamilton stay on top? This May 11-13, thousands of Formula One fans head to sunny Barcelona to watch their favorite driver compete on one of the most exciting courses in the Grand Prix. Why is it a favorite?

The course is a challenge. The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya offers long straights and a mix of high- and low-speed corners with plenty of tire wear. The more tire wear, the more pit stops, which you can view from one of the best grandstands in Formula One.  A natural amphitheater layout means every seat is good and VIP suites offer views of the pit-lane garages.

A Day in Barcelona

A more peaceful alternative to the race is the city of Barcelona, which boasts prized collections of artwork by Picasso, architectural marvels by Gaudi, Gothic churches, parks, tree-lined boulevards, and cafes.

A Day at the Beach

If a day at the beach is more your speed, there are plenty of choices not far from Barcelona. Playa de Sitges is a peaceful beach about 30 minutes south of Barcelona. There you’ll experience the culture of Spain minus the chaos of some of the more crowded beaches.  North of Barcelona on the Costa Brava is the beautiful town beach town of Calella. The water is clear and lunch at the Hotel St. Roc is worth the drive.

A trip to the Spanish Coast offers something for everyone.

What to take: sunglasses, sunscreen

What not to take: Professional recording equipment is forbidden at the race. This includes DSLRs. Your cell phone is okay, but don’t take any photos or video for commercial purposes.

Getting There

Expect a spike in private jet traffic on May 10th to Barcelona El Prat Airport (IATA: BCN). The airport is 12 km south of Barcelona and has a dedicated corporate jet terminal equipped to handle all categories of private aviation.

Today Jetex joins partner EOLO Mexico for the company’s first Latin American show of the year at the Toluca Convention and Exhibition Center in Toluca, Mexico.  AeroExpo is a three-day event with a mission to advance the growth of business travel in Mexico.

“We’re excited to be here again,” Diego Giamberini, Sales Manager Jetex US. “Mexico is the second largest market for business aviation in the world. We’ve partnered with EOLO on the Jetex-branded FBO here in Toluca and we intend to keep expanding here in Latin America.”

Jetex has FBOs in Toluca, Mexico and Santiago, Chile, and a new one is slated to open in Sao Paulo, Brazil in the next few years.

In Mexico, business travel is booming. It made up 1.4 percent of Mexico’s entire GDP in 2015. Not only that, it supports well over 1 million jobs and generates over $71 billion MXN in taxes according to the Global Business Travel Association.

  • It supports well over 1 million jobs
  • It generates over $71 billion MXN in taxes
  • 92 percent of travel in Mexico is overnight
  • The South-Central region, home to Mexico City is the most popular destination.

Visit Jetex at AeroExpo

If you work in the aviation industry or are interested in business aviation, this is a great event to attend. We are participating in the principal event and are co-exhibiting at Booth #I-1, so stop by and say hello.  If you can’t make it, come see us at LABACE in Sao Paulo Brazil this August.

Jetex keeps a busy exhibition schedule. We sponsor and exhibit at: ABACE, EBACE, LABACE; Corporate Jet Investor (CJI) Conferences, MEBAA and NBAA conferences and several air shows.

Planning a Trip to Mexico

Whether you have a jet and need flight support or need to charter a jet, villa or yacht, Jetex can help. Contact Jetex at our FBO in Toluca, Mexico at fbo-tlc@Jetex.com or our global operations center at info@Jetex.com.

Rome Skyline

With its haunting ruins, heart-wrenchingly beautiful architecture, cobbled alleys, irresistible food, and amorous people, one visit to Rome is never enough. The abundance of it overwhelms your sense of sight, of smell, and most of all, of time. Yet it’s one of those cities that leaves you hungry for more of it. Every visit only intensifies this feeling.

That’s why Adel Mardini, CEO and President of Jetex is so excited to officially open an FBO at the Ciampino–G.B. Pastine International airport (CIA/LIRA) located just 30 minutes from the Roman Forum, Spanish steps, Pantheon and of course, the Colosseum.

“You have 3000 years’ worth of history still visible everywhere you look.  It’s such a beautiful city,” said Mardini. “People should never miss an opportunity to visit Rome.”

The opening of this FBO is the company’s first in Italy. If all goes according to plan, it’s the first of many. Jetex continues to expand in the European market with facilities already located in France and Spain.

The Ciampino airport is Rome’s main hub for general aviation and it consistently ranks in the list of top 10 busiest GA airports in Europe. Ciampino saw an average daily departure rate of 21.1 GA flights in 2016, reflecting its position at the heart of Italian business aviation. Including commercial traffic, around 5.5 million people use the airport annually.

What Will the New FBO Provide?

The new FBO, located in the main hall of the general aviation terminal, features a modern, stylish and comfortable waiting area for passengers. Though the wait won’t be long. Without the security lines and crowds of the commercial terminal areas, it’s a much more relaxing space. Expedited processing means you’ll be on your way in no time. And the crew?

For Jetex, crew comfort has always been a consideration in designing our FBOs, so there’s an exclusive area at the new one in Rome for crew to relax, recharge, or prepare for their next flight.

“Clients who have flown through a Jetex FBO, especially our award-winning FBO in Dubai, expect a welcoming staff, an expert ground handling staff. In short, they expect their flight to run smoothly,” said Mardini. “We’re always trying to exceed those expectations.”

In addition to comfortable waiting areas and knowledgeable staff, clients can expect a full range of ground support services including fueling, ground handling, aircraft parking, and ramp services.

“The entire Jetex team here knows this location and can ensure a smooth trip for our clients,” said Alessio Profeta, Rome FBO Manager for Jetex with 13 years of experience at the Ciampino airport.

What Else Can Jetex Do?

The local staff can provide recommendations for hotels, restaurants and events in Rome.  For luxury villa rentals, yacht charter, and the arrangement of special experiences in Rome (A helicopter tour of the city, perhaps?) or anywhere in the world, contact the Jetex eXperience team at Xperience@Jetex.com.

A full spectrum of trip supports services, including flight planning and ground transfer, is available at the facility or via Jetex’s operations centers in Dubai, Miami and Beijing. Contact fbo-cia@Jetex.com for more information.

russian world cup 2018 header

Interested in attending the 2018 World Cup in Russia? You’re not alone. An estimated 3 million fans will head to at least one match in Russia this summer. This means planning ahead to make sure you’ve got a flight, a place to stay, tickets, not to mention the proper fan gear to represent your favorite team.

Worldcup Russia 2018

There are 11 host cities for the 2018 World Cup games, which means there are 11 airports of entry (AOE) for General Aviation Operators. Congestion at these locations means finding a slot, parking, and crew accommodations will be challenging.

Do this first

  • Determine Airport of Entry (AOE)
  • Submit slot request
  • Determine overnight parking for aircraft (not at destination airport)
  • Check NOTAMS & Monitor
  • Book accommodations for passengers and crew

One Month Out

  • Secure Permits
  • Obtain Visas
  • Obtain ground transportation (certified and licensed driver, prepaid)
  • Check fuel requirements (Only TS-1 is available in Russia)

Specifics

Slots

  • Slot requests must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the commencement of the World Cup.
  • Slot confirmation will not be communicated until 2 – 3 weeks prior to the commencement of the event.
  • Slot deviation is normally +/- 30 minutes or +/- 45 minutes for longer flights.
  • There will be penalties for non-adherence to approved slots.
  • Aircraft parking depends on slot approval
  • Parking will be limited to a maximum of two hours on the ground. You’ll need to overnight in an alternate airport.
  • Fuel operators should avoid uplifting fuel and catering during drops as not to cause flight delays and missing a departure slot.

NOTAMS

Authorities will publish NOTAMS 3 – 6 months prior to the opening event. These will list the requirements and restrictions for each airfield. Monitor the NOTAMS for your intended destination.

Permits

Permit lead times depend on how many passengers you’ll have and how many flights you make within a one month period. Permits are valid from 0001UTC on the day of the ETA to 48 hours beyond.

  • Fewer than 19 passenger seats and fewer than 4 flights per month – One business day lead time.
  • More than 19 passenger seats or more than 10 people on the flight, or more than 4 flights per month – 14 days lead time.

Information required for permits.

  • Registration and airworthiness certificate.
  • Air Operator Certificate (AOC) for charter aircraft only.
  • Worldwide insurance with 3rd-party liability
  • Aircraft noise certificate indicating MTOW
  • Crew pilot licenses.
  • If the aircraft is more than 10 years old or there’s no expiration date on the airworthiness certificate you’ll need to provide Aircraft maintenance log
  • Crew and passenger information
  • Purpose of flight
  • Route and schedule
  • Cargo details

Visas

Most nationalities require visas to enter Russia and passenger visas are not available on arrival. Crew applications for visas must be submitted at least 24 hours prior to arrival. Both crew and passenger visas must be obtained before arrival to Russia.

Cabotage

If you pick up passengers in Russia, they must remain onboard until the aircraft departs. Foreign registered aircraft may not transport cargo or people within Russia.

Fuel

Airports in Russia only have TS – 1 jet fuel. Operators should check that this type of fuel can be uplifted. Also, confirm additive availability in Russia prior to travel.

Crew Accommodations

Every host city has a range of hotel rooms, though 4- and 5-star hotels might be scarce in some cities. Expect hotels to sell out and for rooms to be priced higher than normal. Book hotel rooms well in advance.

Security

While there is political tension in Russia the risk of threat is low. Avoid large crowds or protests, watch local news, and alternate routes to your destinations.

Flying to Shanghai?

There are two main options for General Aviation (GA) flights traveling to Shanghai: the Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (IATA: SHA, ICAO: ZSSS) and Shanghai Pudong International Airport (IATA: PVG, ICAO: ZSPD). Both are 24-hour Airports of Entry (AoE), with customs and immigration available on-site. You’ll find a full range of ground handling and fueling services at both locations.

The venue for ABACE is the Hawker Pacific Business Aviation Service Centre, which is located at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport. This makes ZSSS the first choice for those attending the event. Shanghai Pudong International Airport is located about 54km from the venue. Landing permits and slots should be obtained well in advance of this popular event.

What About Landing Permits?

The official lead time to get a landing permit, which is required for any travel to China, is three working days. This gives the Civil Aviation Authority of China (CAAC) time to review all information and coordinate with the local sponsor. Once approved, permits are only valid for the times stated on the flight schedule. Any changes to arrival/departure times, passengers, crew, or aircraft tail numbers are considered revisions and too many revisions may require a fresh permit request.

Request Airport Slots Early

Slots are required at both Hongqiao (ZSSS) and Pudong (ZSPD) airports. These will be issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) once landing permits have been confirmed. Due to high scheduled commercial activity, slots are not processed and confirmed until approximately 48 hours prior to the estimated time of arrival. Please note that the slot time confirmed may differ from what was originally requested, which can result in revisions to the scheduled arrival/departure time. Peak operating hours at ZSSS and ZSPD are from 08:00 – 22:00 local time. During this period, only one slot is allocated for each GA operator. This means arrival and departure slots cannot be obtained on the same day during peak hours.

Getting Your Chinese Visa

All passengers and crew traveling to China must arrange appropriate visas prior to arrival. Visa regulations are strictly enforced by the Chinese authorities. Arriving in the country without the correct documents may result in fines and/or deportation. Note that all passports must be valid for the full duration of the stay.

Pilot in Aviation

If I asked you to name a female aviator, Amelia Earhart would likely come to mind.  She was, after all, the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. Her disappearance somewhere over the Pacific Ocean made her a legend.

Each Female Aviator Inspires the Next

Amelia was not the first woman to fly. Since Wilbur and Orville Wright took off at Kitty Hawk, women have contributed to what has become an $800 billion-dollar industry. It was Katherine Wright, Wilbur and Orville’s sister, who provided the moral and financial support for her brother’s success. When they flew exhibition flights in France, she sat with them, becoming one of the first women ever to fly in an airplane.

Baroness Raymonde de Laroche  was in the crowd for one of these flights and, inspired by Katherine’s courage, became the first woman to not only fly solo, but to obtain her pilot’s license.

And, it was the Baroness, flying exhibitions in France, who inspired Bessica Raiche to immediately begin building airplanes with her husband in the US.

One after another, women dared to fly and inspired other women to follow. They each gave shape to what might otherwise have remained a dream.

The World Needs More Women Pilots

Despite this history, only 3 percent of the world’s commercial airline pilots are women. Why? The cost of learning to fly is an obvious barrier. Getting certified and building up enough flight time to qualify for an airline job can cost well over $100K.

According to a U.S. study by Penny Rafferty Hamilton, a Colorado-based aviation educator, another problem is the lack of female mentors.  If young women only see men piloting their flights, they are less likely to see it as a career choice for themselves.

That’s why so many airlines—British Airways, Easyjet, Virgin Atlantic–are launching campaigns to increase the visibility of the thousands of women who already fly commercial airliners. Female pilots are visiting schools and recruiting events to remind others the career is there; it’s within their grasp.

India leads the world in training professional women pilots. Beating the US and the UK, the country produces female pilots at 4 times the global average. In the US, 6 percent of commercial pilots are women, a percentage that hasn’t changed much since the 1980s.  Compare that to India, where more than 10 percent of pilots are women, where sitting in 20 percent of cadet seats at flying schools are women, where 95 percent finish, ready for a job with an airline.

On pace to become the third largest aviation market by 2020, India simply can’t ignore the potential of half their population. Frankly, neither can the rest of the world.  Boeing estimates the world needs another 637,000 pilots by 2036.

The demand will be there. Let’s get more women in the cockpit.

Valentine's Day

With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, you may be wondering what to get him, or her, to celebrate the occasion. Flowers and chocolate come to mind, but who wants to be that cliché? How about something a bit more extravagant? Something so sublime you’ll both be talking about it a year from now, and if you’re lucky, twenty years from now.

Our lifestyle management team at X by Jetex has a few adventures in mind. From a candlelight dinner on a sandbar in the Maldives, to a helicopter tour of snow-capped Mt. Kenya. If you can imagine it, we can arrange it! Here are some great Valentine’s Day gift ideas to get you started:

.

A Horse-drawn Sleigh Ride in St. Moritz

Frequented by the jet set for a reason, this famous Alpine town isn’t accessible by commercial plane. The runway is too short. Most visitors arrive by train or by private jet. But what better way to spend a romantic getaway than speeding down sparkling powder runs and then warming up by a crackling fire. Ride through a nearby forest in a horse-drawn sleigh or spend the afternoon in a mineral bath at Spa Samedan. During the month of February, the frozen lake becomes a track for weekly horse races.

Valentine's Day - St. Moritz

This culinary hotspot has plenty of choices for a romantic dinner; six restaurants have Michelin stars. We can arrange for a nanny…or a private chef if dining in is more appealing. Whatever your heart desires, our elite lifestyle team can arrange.

.

An Eco Bungalow in the Chocolate Islands

If you consider yourself a trendsetter who loves to discover new destinations, São Tomé and Príncipe might be a perfect choice. This African island is part of a volcano chain that features cinematic rock and coral formations, rainforests and remote, pristine beaches. In the early 20th century these islands were the center of a chocolate empire with more than 800 cocoa plantations. Only a few are in operation today, but the ruins are fun to explore.

Valentine's Day - São Tomé

Accompany a guide to the beaches where female turtles lay their eggs and learn about the latest conservation efforts. Hike through a rainforest to the top of Parrot Mountain where you’ll see monkeys, orchids, colorful birds and medicinal plants. Cool off in a secluded waterfall or spend the evening in a beachside bungalow at Bom Bom Resort. This island gets few tourists a year, for now.

.

Yoga & Buddhist Pilgrimage in Bhutan

Couples on a spiritual journey can find no better destination than the Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan. This all-Buddhist country measures its prosperity by gauging the happiness levels of its citizens. For yoga enthusiasts, there are several exclusive retreats to help harmonize your mind, body, and spirit.

Valentine's Day - Tiger’s Nest Monastery

Make a pilgrimage to the famous ‘Tiger’s Nest Monastery,’ hung on a cliff overlooking the Paro Valley. According to legend, Padmasambhava, the Brahmin royal who spread Tantric Buddhism through Bhutan, flew there to meditate on the back of a flying tiger. Today it’s a two-hour trek from the valley floor, but the views are spectacular.

For most, getting there can be a hassle. Visitors from certain countries are required to stop in India for a permit, which can take up to ten days. However, if you fly in on a private jet there is no waiting time and we can secure the permit on your behalf.

.

Candlelight Dinner on a Beach in the Bahamas

An island so exclusive it’s only reachable by private jet, Norman’s Cay is a swirl of white sand and electric blue water in a chain of islands called the Exumas south and east of Nassau. What was once the headquarters for the Medellín Cartel’s drug smuggling operation is now a charming resort of seaside cottages.

Valentine's Day - Yacht charter in the Bahamas

The Exumas are home to hundreds of cays best explored by chartered yacht. Talk to our team, who can arrange a wide selection of beautiful vessels for you to choose from. Visit Big Majors Cay, an uninhabited island famous for its swimming pigs. Feed the friendly stingrays that swim in Ship Channel Cay or dive for conch and lobster on one of the nearby reefs. For a romantic evening, we can organize an enchanting candlelit dinner on your own private beach.

.
Rent a Villa on Lake Como

Winston Churchill was so enchanted with Lake Como he is said to have sat for 5 hours, brush in hand, trying to paint it. We can see why. This dreamy lake destination, surrounded by grand villas and ancient villages, has long been a retreat for aristocrats, movie stars, writers, and elite travelers who love the glamour of Old Hollywood.

Valentine's Day - Lake Como Villa

Villa La Cassinella is a 19th-century mansion that shares a peninsula with one other villa and is only accessible by boat. The main house has seven bedrooms and a nearby terrace house has two more. The amenities include a floodlit tennis court, a heated Infiniti pool, seven acres of gardens, and a private motorboat on call. It’s just one option for spending a weekend, a week, or a whole month in Valentine bliss.

Sonvea Fushi has more than 30 spectacular dive sites to choose from, where you can enjoy breathtaking encounters with whale sharks, manta rays and an abundance of other species. For the ultimate experience, Jetex can arrange a trip for you and your party with a professional marine biologist, who will serve as your own personal guide on an incredible voyage into the ocean.

Maldives - Manta Ray

December through to March is dry season in the Maldives, and also happens to be the best time of year to witness one of nature’s wonders, the “manta ray car wash”. In this incredible display of marine symbiosis, the water teems with huge manta rays who line up at underwater “cleaning stations”. Here, hundreds of tiny brightly-colored wrasse fish nibble on the bodies of their “clients”, removing parasites and dead or damaged scales. One by one, the rays and other creatures line up over the rocky outcrops to be thoroughly serviced by the efficient and friendly fish, who get to enjoy a hearty meal in return. It’s truly a wondrous sight to behold, and one of many unforgettable bespoke adventures our team can arrange for you.

Jetex Paris FBO IS-BAH

Jetex is celebrating another outstanding achievement, with the award of the International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH) certification and the successful completion of NATA’s Safety 1st training program at our Fixed-Base Operator (FBO) at Paris-Le Bourget Airport (LBG/LFPB).

This makes the Jetex FBO the first in the whole of France to attain both of these prestigious accreditations. Here, we take a look at these programs and what the awards indicate about the standard of service delivered by the team at our Paris FBO Terminal.

.
Europe’s Busiest General Aviation Hub

Paris-Le Bourget is the busiest airport dedicated to general aviation in Europe, having handled almost 50,000 movements in 2016. Opened in 2009, the Jetex facility at LBG is our longest-established FBO and has become the trusted choice for operators at this popular destination. Our team delivers a comprehensive range of ground handling services, fuel and bespoke concierge services.

Jetex Paris FBO IS-BAH

The Jetex luxury jet terminal offers a stunning VIP lounge, and our unfailing attention to customer service ensures a smooth and pleasant experience for all passengers and crew.

.
IS-BAH: A Guarantee of Quality

Jointly developed by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) and the National Air Transportation Association (NATA), IS-BAH incorporates guidelines from NATA’s highly-respected Ground Audit Standard and Safety 1st training programs and is bringing greater standardization to ground handlers and operators across the globe.

IS-BAH represents the gold-standard of industry best practice, and is regarded as a guarantee of world-class service. The program is designed to help FBOs and ground handling teams by providing a solid set of guidelines for common operational procedures, with the ultimate objective of meeting the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)’s upcoming Safety Management System (SMS) requirements.

.
Safety 1st: An Assurance of Safety

The NATA Safety 1st program provides high-quality standardized training for FBOs and ground handlers through a unique blend of online and in-person experiences. Since launching in the mid-90s, it has evolved into the leading resource for individuals handling general aviation aircraft.

Currently in use at over 800 locations globally, Safety 1st is the leading international source for information on general aviation ground handling regulatory compliance and operational best practice.  The program provides reviews of aviation processes and online learning courses focused on a complete spectrum of topics. Aircraft operators look for the Safety 1st logo during facility audits as a reliable indicator of high-quality ground handling.

.
Today Paris, Tomorrow the World!

Our Paris FBO is the second facility in the Jetex global network to achieve both IS-BAH and Safety 1st certification, and joins our flagship FBO terminal in Dubai in completing the approval process.

We are proud that our longest-established private terminal in France has become the country’s first and only facility to exceed the demanding standards laid out in both the IS-BAH and Safety 1st programs. These achievements are testament to the dedication of our team, and a reflection of the outstanding quality of service they are delivering.

Jetex is currently working towards implementing both programs across our entire global network, helping to ensure all staff are kept fully up-to-date with the finest industry training available.

We will continue to pursue further avenues for professional development, further reinforcing our reputation for excellence and innovation in trip support and ensuring our clients continue to receive dependable, world-class services wherever they may be traveling.
