Jetex is celebrating another outstanding achievement, with the award of the International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH) certification and the successful completion of NATA’s Safety 1st training program at our Fixed-Base Operator (FBO) at Paris-Le Bourget Airport (LBG/LFPB).

IS-BAH: A Guarantee of Quality
Jointly developed by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) and the National Air Transportation Association (NATA), IS-BAH incorporates guidelines from NATA’s highly-respected Ground Audit Standard and Safety 1st training programs and is bringing greater standardization to ground handlers and operators across the globe.
IS-BAH represents the gold-standard of industry best practice, and is regarded as a guarantee of world-class service. The program is designed to help FBOs and ground handling teams by providing a solid set of guidelines for common operational procedures, with the ultimate objective of meeting the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)’s upcoming Safety Management System (SMS) requirements.

Safety 1st: An Assurance of Safety
The NATA Safety 1st program provides high-quality standardized training for FBOs and ground handlers through a unique blend of online and in-person experiences. Since launching in the mid-90s, it has evolved into the leading resource for individuals handling general aviation aircraft.
Currently in use at over 800 locations globally, Safety 1st is the leading international source for information on general aviation ground handling regulatory compliance and operational best practice. The program provides reviews of aviation processes and online learning courses focused on a complete spectrum of topics. Aircraft operators look for the Safety 1st logo during facility audits as a reliable indicator of high-quality ground handling.

Our Paris FBO is the second facility in the Jetex global network to achieve both IS-BAH and Safety 1st certification, and joins our flagship FBO terminal in Dubai in completing the approval process.
We are proud that our longest-established private terminal in France has become the country’s first and only facility to exceed the demanding standards laid out in both the IS-BAH and Safety 1st programs. These achievements are testament to the dedication of our team, and a reflection of the outstanding quality of service they are delivering.
